The Marwah Dhow Sailing Race 43-foot Category

The Marwah Dhow Sailing Race – 43ft Category will take place on Saturday as part of the 16th edition of the Al Dhafra Maritime Festival, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Council and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.

The event will be hosted at Al Mugheirah Beach in Al Dhafra. The race is one of the festival’s most prominent activities, with wide participation from dhow boats led by a select group of skippers and sailors. Originally scheduled for the previous Sunday, the race was postponed due to changing weather conditions to ensure the safety of participants. This decision received praise from owners and skippers, who emphasized the importance of holding the race in suitable conditions for optimal performance.
