H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, has emphasised that the Zayed Charity Run is a river of generosity flowing from the UAE, spreading giving and goodness, and achieving humanitarian goals each year since its inception in Abu Dhabi in 2001.

On the occasion of the 23rd Zayed Charity Run in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamdan said that this race represents a cornerstone of humanitarian efforts pursued by the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. “At every stage, it embodies the principles of generosity, giving, and support for humanity, reflecting the UAE’s approach and wise leadership over the years.”

He added that this significant charity race has worked since its first edition to achieve its charitable goals everywhere, bearing the name of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. “Its great impact continues within the UAE and abroad, through its organisation in Abu Dhabi, New York in the US, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.”

Sheikh Hamdan extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the continued success of the event and the achievement of its desired objectives, including the organising committee, sponsors, volunteers, and participants. “This reflects the collective belief in its significant societal and humanitarian role and recognition of its great value,” he noted.
